If you own and /or manage a multi-family building or residential condominium with at least six housing units and your building is located in the City of Toronto, then the Multi-family Energy Efficiency Rebates offers incentives to help you reduce your electricity costs.

Electricity Retrofit Incentive Program
ERIP focuses on the areas of lighting, motors, heating ventilation and air conditioning and overall electricity systems. These areas cover the majority of and most important electricity upgrades businesses engage in.

Power Savings Blitz*
The program provides turn-key lighting and water heating retrofits for small commercial businesses whose electricity usage is less than 50kW of demand. Funding up to $1,000 is provided for the retrofit, with an opportunity to pay costs over the $1,000 limit, at each business' discretion.
*Designed and approved as the Small Commercial Direct Install program and later renamed as the EKC Power Savings Blitz program.

Better Buildings Partnership - Existing Buildings
The Better Buildings Partnership - Existing Buildings (BBP-EB) assists building owners improving their buildings through energy efficiency measures. BOMA Toronto CDM Program
The BOMA Toronto CDM Program launched in spring 2007. The program directs incentive funds towards the capital cost of demand-reducing and energy saving initiatives in commercial buildings over 25,000 square feet in Toronto. The program is targeting savings of 150 MW in the City of Toronto.

Business Incentive Program
The Business Incentive Program encourages and rewards energy-efficient renovations to commercial buildings. Under this program, Toronto Hydro-Electric System offers incentives to owners and operators of commercial buildings 25,000 square feet or less. These include multi-use, commercial, office, retail, restaurant, convenience store, grocery store, hotel properties, etc.
